Data Systems Refresh (DSR) update letter
On 6 September 2023, the DSR team sent a letter to all SDR submitters with an update on the DSR programme. See TEC's email sent 6 September 2023 and DSR Update - Sept letter.
The letter includes:
- information about and a link to the latest DSR Provider-Based Data manual (SDR Only) v0.3 and example CSV files
- a reminder about the DSR Portal demo webinar

Note: TEC is engaging with a TEO Consult Group and TEO User Group to help shape the DSR design. The DSR portal will be in place for 2025.
Provider-Based Data Manual - New version
In the previous update (August 2023) providers were sent a link to the DSR Provider-Based Data Submission for Actuals manual (PB Data Manual v0.2).
Following this, there was engagement with DSR's TEO User Group and feedback from other providers. As a result, several changes were made and an updated PB Data Manual was published: DSR Provider-Based Data manual (SDR only) v0.3.| TEC (docx)

A summary of changes is provided on page 8 of the manual and includes:
- Separation of specification for data reported outside the Single Data Return (SDR)
- Removal of the data requirement for Outbound Learner data
- Field order in the CSV files
- New requirement for reporting course discounts – two new compulsory fields
- SDR validations
